This is a sublime large vintage Italian, gilded toleware, cage chandelier with crystals.

The sides of the cage and the arms are extremely curvaceous with curls and scrolls.

They are painted a rich shade of dark red and are decorated with a miasma of gilded leaves.

From these a plethora of facetted crystals hang and the effect is stunning.

The candle holders are held in glass cups on gilded wood supports.

At the base of the chandelier is a gilded wood finial from which a magnificent facetted glass ball hangs.

The chandelier has an impressive gilded chain and there is a matching ceiling rose.

There is plenty of flex for the customer to add extra chain if required.

                           Removable chain 12 cm
