This is a handsome antique French hat stand dating from about 1900.

It is a substantial piece with a large sturdy base. It is beautifully made from turned wood. The wood is mahogany and has a fabulous rich mid brown colour.

It would make a wonderful addition to a period display and would be perfect for a vintage hat shop or to display a favourite chapeau.

It's handsome good looks would make it equally suitable to display gentleman's or lady's hats.

It measures :-

34 cm (13.3 inches) high

19 cm (7.5 inches) across the bottom

7 cm (2.75 inches) across the top.
