This is an exquisite antique French brass picture frame dating from the early 1900's.

It would be perfect for a boudoir, perhaps placed on a bedside table.

It is oval in shape and has a gorgeous bow and ribbon tail crest. The frame is also decorated with an intricate design.

The frame holds a charming  photograph of a girl probably from the 1940's /50's but this can be changed if required.

The frame itself is very sturdy and there is a very sturdy backrest. There is a loop for hanging it on a wall. There is the merest hint of a chip to the underside of the glass on the right hand side (please see photo).

The frame measures 17.5 cm (7 inches) high x 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) wide.

While standing it is 9 cm (3.5 inches) deep.
