B2009 - Stunning Pair Antique French Two Arm Acanthus Leaf Brass Candle Wall Sconces

This is a stunning pair of two armed antique French brass candle wall sconces. They would certainly add flickering candlelit atmosphere to a château chic interior.

They are very substantial and of excellent quality. They are sturdy with good weight, each one weighing over 1.25 kg. They have a gorgeous scrolled acanthus leaf design and have a left and right configuration.

The two arms branch out from the backplate and have swirling leaf detail. The candle cups sit on decorative bobeche.

There is a strap on the back of each sconce for hanging on a wall.

The brass has a subtle antique patina while still having a golden glow. 

Each sconce measures  :- 38 cm (14.9 inches) high x 22 cm (8.6 inches) wide x approx 10 cm (4 inches) deep.
