This is a gorgeous antique French plaster bust in the Art Nouveau style dating from the early 1900's.

The subject is a beautiful young girl with fabulous long hair falling over her shoulder. Her eyes are lovely and she has pink cupid's bow lips.

She wears a flower in her hair and further flowers adorn the plaster plinth.

The colours are dark and atmospheric. The flowers are a deep shade of aubergine and the leaves are a very dark green.

At the bottom of the plinth is the name 'LAURIER' and there is a stamp on the back.

The bust has a little minor distressing from the passage of time.

She measures 34.5 cm (13.5 inches) high x 19 cm (7.5 inches) wide x 12 cm (4.75 inches) deep.

This is a gorgeous bust to add an authentic antique French finishing touch and another divine brocante find from La Belle Étoffe!
