This is a gorgeous antique French oil painting in it's original wood frame probably dating from the early 1900's.

The subject matter is a beautiful vase of flowers. It is painted on plywood in the impressionist style and is signed 'A. Valy'.

The paint is applied thickly and the colours are divine.

The frame is as attractive as the painting. It has it's original thick white paint now patinated and distressed with the passage of time. It is sturdy and has a loop on the back for hanging it on a wall.

It measures :- 36 cm (14.25 inches) wide x 43 cm (17 inches) high.

The painting and it's frame are utterly charming and would add an authentic vintage touch to a special niche.
