This is a divine antique French ormolu picture frame dating from the 1800's.

It would be perfect for a boudoir, perhaps placed on a bedside table with a collection of others.

The frame has an impressive crest with flower garlands falling to either side. The sides of the frame have a twisted ribbon design.

The frame holds a charming antique photograph of a distinguished elderly gentleman with an impressive set of whiskers. This could be changed if required.

On the back of the frame is a brass plate and a sturdy back rest.

The frame is in good sturdy condition, the glass intact. The ormolu has mellowed over the years to an atmospheric old gold colour. The sides of the frame have had a few knocks over the years but this just adds character to this lovely old frame.

The frame measures 19 cm (7.5 inches) high x 12.5 cm (5 inches) wide.

While standing it is 11 cm (4.3 inches) deep.
