This is a superb pair of antique French repoussé curtain pole finials dating from the 19th Century. They would certainly add a château chic finishing touch to a curtain pole.

Their shape is of a pineapple in an acanthus leaf cup.

They are of excellent quality with marvelous detail & definition to the repoussé work. The gilding on the metal has mellowed over the years to a subtle old gold. 

The finials have their original screws for fixing to a pole.

They measure:- 10 cms (4 inches) high not including the screws x approx. 7 cms (2.75 inches) wide. The base plate will take a 5 cms (2 inch) diameter pole.
