This is a superb vintage French metal sign advertising Huile De Table Des Chartreux.

It features a very life like bottle of the oil with the words 'la meilleure huile pour la cuisine' - the best oil for the kitchen.

The sign has the same attractive blue and yellow livery as the labels on the bottle.

The sign would make an extremely decorative and atmospheric piece to hang on a wall, perhaps in a kitchen or in a bar.

It is in good condition with some patination to the paint which does not detract but adds character to this wonderful old piece.

The sign has a hole in each of the corners for attaching to a wall.

It measures :- W 26 cm (10.25 inches) x H 37.5 cm (15.25 inches).
