This is a superb vintage French metal sign advertising Remy-Pannier sparkling wine.

Remy-Pannier is the largest producer in the Saumur region in the Loire Valley.

The sign features a life like bottle of the wine sitting on it's crate at a rather jaunty angle. Around the bottle are the sheaves of straw that would have been used to pack the bottles in the crate.

The sign would make a very decorative display piece to hang on a wall, perhaps in a kitchen or in a bar.

The back of the sign is cardboard and there is a metal loop for hanging. There are two metal flaps on the back which when folded out will allow the sign to stand on a counter.

The sign measures :-  H 36 cm (14 inches) x W 27.5 cm (10.75 inches)
