This is a fabulous set of 7 antique French gilded metal curtain rings dating from the 1800's. They would be perfect to add a château chic finishing touch to a portière. We also have another set of 7 rings, B1305, with which these would look superb alternated on a pair of curtains.

Both sets have a gorgeous long acanthus leaf embellishment that will sweep down over the top of the curtain when hung on a pole. The effect will be stunning and very chic.

These rings were originally sewn directly onto the curtain but a wire loop could be added to each ring in order to take a modern curtain hook. 

The rings are very substantial and of good weight. The gilding has mellowed to a gorgeous antique hue.

Each of these rings including the acanthus leaf embellishment measures 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) high x 2.5 cm (1 inch) wide.

The inside diameter of the curtain ring measures 5.5 cm (2.25 inches).
