This is a magnificent set of 11 antique French gilded metal curtain rings dating from the 1800's. They are of a quality and design rarely seen.

They have a gorgeous fruit and leaf embellishment that will sweep down over the top of the curtain when hung on a pole. The effect will be stunning and very chic.

These rings were originally sewn directly onto the curtain but a wire loop could be added to each ring in order to take a modern curtain hook. 

The rings are very heavy and substantial. The gilding has mellowed to a gorgeous antique hue which will look superb with antique textiles.

Each ring including the embellishment measures 11 cm (4.25 inches) high x 4.5 cm (1.75 inches) wide.

The inside of the curtain ring itself measures 5.5 cm (2.25 inches) diameter.
