This is a gorgeous set of 12 antique French toleware curtain rings dating from the 1800's.

They have a fabulous acanthus leaf embellishment which will sweep down over the top of the curtain when hung on a pole. The effect will be stunning and very chic.

These rings would have originally have been sewn directly onto the curtain but a wire loop could be added to each ring in order to take a modern curtain hook. 

The rings are all good and strong. The gilding has a lovely buttery hue which catches the light beautifully.

Each ring including the acanthus leaf embellishment measures 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) high x 2.75 cm (1.1 inches) wide.

The inside of the curtain ring itself measures 5.5 cm (2.25 inches) diameter.
