This is a beautiful antique French hand painted silk fan dating from about 1900. It is just so pretty and would make the perfect château chic finishing touch to a boudoir.

It is made in silk in the palest of pale shell pink and is hand painted with flowers in pastel shades of pink, yellow, green and turquoise - just lovely. The sticks are made of wood and are painted in an antique white / pale grey and are gold embossed with an intricate floral design. There is a loop at the bottom to take a tassel.

The fan is in excellent antique condition and handles beautifully.

When fully extended it measures :- 56 cm (22 inches) wide x 30 cm (12 inches) high.
