S035 - SOLD

This is a truly magnificent antique French hat stand dating from about 1900.

It is a tall and very substantial piece. It is beautifully made from turned wood. The wood is oak and has fabulous graining in rich mid brown tones.

It stands on 3 sturdy feet and is very handsome. It's height would make it perfect to take a hat with a large brim.

 It would make a wonderful addition to a period display and would be perfect for a vintage hat shop or to display a favourite chapeau.

It measures :-

61 cm (24 inches) high

19 cm (7.5 inches) across the bottom

7 cm (2.75 inches) across the top.
