B1732 - Fabulous Pair Long Vintage French 1950's Chateau Curtains / Drapes, Tres Chic

This is the most fabulous pair of long vintage French curtains in an amazing 1950's  print. The textile is a heavy cotton and the curtains drape beautifully.

The print and the colour combination are to die for. The textile is covered with stunning bunches of meadow flowers in vibrant shades on a claret red background. Here we have margarites, poppies, cornflowers and buttercups in stunning shades of red, yellow, blue and white which look amazing against the vibrant emerald green of the foliage.

The curtains are well made. The tops are half pleated and have 3 hooks and a ring sewn to the back. There is a 20 cm hem to the bottom and the edges are neatly hemmed. They are not lined.

They are in very good vintage condition. We have left them as we found them. They have not been dry cleaned. There are one or two minor marks but these blend into the design and do not draw the eye. Please see all the photos.

Each curtain measures :- 293 cm (9 ft 7.5 inches) long x 52 cm (1 ft 8.5 inches) across the top and 62 cm (2 ft .05 inches) across the bottom.
