This is a truly beautiful antique French framed religious print dating from the 19th Century. It depicts ' Our Lady of Perpetual Help'.

Mary holds her baby in her arms. They both wear gorgeous crowns and have stunning gold halos. Their faces are beautiful and their clothes are in fabulous jewel shades of turquoise, green and red.

In the background are the angels carrying the instruments of crucifixion.

The frame is as sublime as the print. The outer frame is beautifully gilded and looks superb against the simplicity of the plain wood inner slip. There has been a little worm over the years but this has long gone.

The glass is original to the print and has lovely bubbles and imperfections. There is just one minute nick in the bottom right hand corner (please see photos).

The back of the print is card and there is a loop for hanging.

The print in it's frame measures :- 48.75 cm (19.25 inches) high x 39.5 inches (15.5 inches) wide.

A gorgeous framed religious print to add a divine atmospheric touch to a wall and another superb antique French find from La Belle Étoffe.
