B1831 - Fabulous Large Panel / Curtain Antique French Rose Print Cotton Cretonne 19th C

This is a fabulous large panel of antique French cotton cretonne textile in the most gorgeous rose design and dating from the 19th Century. There is masses of  textile to incorporate into any number of  interiors projects.

The textile is of medium weight and drapes beautifully. The design is to die for. There is a positive floribunda of gorgeous full blown roses in pink, cream and sage green on a stunning red background - just fabulous!

The panel has a seam down the middle and a small hand sewn hem to the top and bottom. The selvedge forms the left hand edge and the right hand edge is machine sewn.

We have left the panel as we found it. It is in good antique condition. There is just one tiny hole in the top right hand corner where it was possibly at one time nailed to something. There are one or two very minor marks (please see all the photos) which blend into the design and do not draw the eye. In our opinion the panel is ready for use but of course it could be laundered if required.

It measures :- 278 cm (9 ft 1.5 inches) long x 160 cm (5 ft 3 inches) wide.
