This is the most divine little antique French picture frame dating from the 19th Century. It contains a picture of a child but this could easily be replaced.

The piece has a gilded metal outer frame with a darling bow crest and a tiny urn of flowers to each of the top two corners. There are two tiny ball feet.

Within the metal frame is a porcelain fascia with an oval aperture. The porcelain has a beautiful little pink bow to each of the corners and these are linked with tiny blue and pink flower garland swags - just gorgeous.

The back of the frame has a little wooden stand and there is a loop for hanging.

The frame is in good antique condition. The glass is intact. The metal on the back has had one or two knocks over the years but thi does not detract.

The frame measures :- 13 cm (5.1 inches) high including the crest x 10.25 cm (4 inches) wide.
The aperture with the picture measures :- 7.5 cm (2.9 inches) high x 5.75 cm (2.3 inches) wide.
