B1991 - Impressive Pair Antique French Gilded Brass Chateau Curtain Pole Finials, 19th C

This is an impressive large pair of antique French gilded brass curtain pole finials dating from the 1800's. They would certainly add a touch of grandeur to a curtain ensemble.

They have a stunning pierced leaf design. They are weighty and of large size. They are of good quality with excellent detail to the casting of the metal.

The gilding has mellowed to perfection with the passage of time.

Each finial has a screw for fixing to a pole.

They measure:- 17.25 cm (6.8 inches) high not including the screw  x 9.1 cm (3.6 inches) wide. The base plate is 4.5 cm (1.8 inches) in diameter.
