This is a divine vintage French ciel de lit to hang above a bed to create a decorative centre piece from which to hang drapes.

It has a painted scrolled wrought iron outer frame with a central heart crest with two charming little birds.  

There is an inner metal frame from which to hand the drapes.

There are 2 brackets on the back for fixing to a wall.

The couronne is in good vintage condition with just a little patina to the paint and minor distressing to the apex of the heart crest (please see photos). 

It measures :- W 81 cm (31.9 inches) x D 40 cm (15.75 inches) x H 19 cm (7.5 inches).

It weighs 1.2 kg.
