This is a charming antique porcelain coffee set made by Winterling of Bavaria. All the pieces have a delightful winged cherub motif. It would be a pleasure to use and would look gorgeous displayed in a vitrine.

The set is comprised of 4 cups, 4 saucers, a coffee pot with lid, a sugar bowl with lid and a cream jug. The pieces are in white with a beautiful irridescent blue to the edges.

The front of each piece has a truly beautiful winged cherub transfer decoration. The cherub sits on a branch within a circle of cobalt blue. The cherub is surrounded by tiny white flowers which look stunning against the bright blue background.

Around the blue circle is a decorative gilded border - just lovely.

The coffee set has been used. There are some minor marks on the ceramic, a sliver of transfer missing from the coffee pot and there is a hairline crack in the jug (please see photos). This does not detract from the usability of the set or it's beauty.

The coffee pot with it's lid on measures :- 19 cm (7.5 inches) high. The cups are suitable to take an espresso.
