This is a beautiful antique French bridal couronne / tiara with it's original box. It is in lovely condition and is very wearable.

It has 5 gorgeous white organza flowers with anther cluster centres. The organza flowers are interspersed with wax orange blossom flowers and tiny wispy feathers. All these are sewn with silk on to a narrow band and there is an elasticated section to go round the back of the head.

The box is pale turquoise in colour and decorated in gold and white with flowers. It has the words 'Nos Parures de Mariées' written in gold across the top.

The central flower on the tiara is about 9 cm (3.5 inches) high including it's leaf.
The elasticated section allows it to fit all sizes.
The box measures 31.5 cm (12.5 inches) wide x 23 cm (9 inches) deep x 5.75 cm (2.3 inches) high.

This beautiful tiara would make the perfect 'Something Old' for a bride's outfit or could just be kept and treasured for it's beauty.
